This award is the highest accreditation available and gives the client the comfort and security that the industry’s latest standards and quality are constantly being monitored and applied through ISO9000.

It's been a very busy few months here at Allied Protection, we have been working away on several large projects and taking on several more sites for existing clients.We are currently undertaking 5 year electrical inspections for Thames Valley properties.

On winning the 10 year Fire Maintenance Contract for Notting Hill Housing Trust, we are now carrying out works identified on a further 200 properties which will be added to our portfolio for maintenance.

We are still continuing to carry out the James Butcher Housing Tender works project.

Projects are carrying out Tender works for Circle Anglia - South Anglia - consisting of 14 sites

Projects have just started work at 2 new sites for Look Ahead Housing.

The first month of the new decade and things have certainly started very well this year for the team here at Allied Protection Ltd. We have got more projects and as a result we are now recruiting for new staff. We have just started several contracts for various organisations including a 1 year contract for James Butcher Housing installing addressable systems throughout 13 sites, a contract for Notting Hill Housing to upgrade fire alarm, fire precaution and emergency lighting over 7 sites. We are also starting work at 5 sites in Norwich for Wherry Housing to commence the first week of February 2011.

We are also pleased to have secured the contract for Notting Hill Housing to upgrade fire alarms, fire precaution and emergency lighting over 5 sites as part of the fire risk assessment work.

More exciting news from Allied Protection, we are pleased to report that we have achieved NSI Gold Approval in the disciplines of Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control. NSI is the National Security Inspectorate who approve and inspect companies who provide home and commercial fire safety and security services.

We are very pleased to announce that we have become NICEIC approved, NICEIC is the National Inspection Council for Electrical Contracting. NICEIC is an organisation based in Houghton Regis which regulates the training and work of electricians across the United Kingdom who join the scheme. The approved contractor scheme is for electrical contractors who undertake design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical system installations to BS7671 standard. We are very pleased to be recognised as approved contractors under this scheme, knowing that we have met the rigorous standards set by the organisation means we can offer customers the reassurances that all of our work will meet a very high standard. The last month has been very busy for us here at Allied Protection Ltd, here is an update on some of our contracts and projects we have recently taken on.

As one of the leading fire alarm installation companies who operate in London we have recently run some prestigious contracts including a 10 year contract to provide Notting Hill Housing Group with our fire safety alarm system services. We have also installed a Tunstall System at Commodore Court for Thames Valley Housing Association. We have been awarded the fire alarm upgrade to multiple properties over the next 18 months for James Butcher Housing, totaling over 3,500 smoke detectors!

We have completed the hand-over of Central and Cecil property consisting of a 4 panel network with 1,200 field devices and a very complex cause and effects matrix. We have successfully handed over our first installation project for Springboard Housing recently, on time and on budget!

2010 was a great year for us despite the backdrop of the economic worries globally we have grown and diversified and continued to build a quality service, towards the end of last year we launched our new website and several new services including a new division of Allied Protection called SolarGen, this new service offers a professional installation of Solar PV Panels for residential and commercial customers, please take a moment to read more about this here.
